A DIFFERENT KIND OF SUMMER AT GRACEPOINT CHURCH
This summer, we’re doing something - well, ODD. Instead of our normal Sunday rhythm, we’re reimagining what it means to be the church—gathering differently and going into and serving our community.
We’re meeting on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of June, July, and August for worship, teaching, and community. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays, we’re closing our doors—and heading out to serve our city. No building - just people, loving their neighbors in practical, powerful ways.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Odd Sundays (1st, 3rd, 5th) We gather together for worship and teaching, digging into the story of the early church in the book of Acts and exploring what it means to live with purpose, passion, and generosity. Even Sundays (2nd & 4th) Instead of a service, we serve. We have a full list of projects that we will post. We’re encouraging everyone to get out and live out their faith. On these weeks, you’ll receive a devotional written around the early church, giving you something to read, reflect on, and pray through—right from wherever you are.
WHY: Church isn’t a building. It’s people, filled with God’s Spirit, moving in the world with love. The early church was bold, generous, and deeply connected. That’s what we’re after. ODD Church is an invitation to do church differently—to slow down, live intentionally, and love courageously. Let’s be the church—together.
