GracePoint Outreach empowers individuals to Make Jesus Known in our community and throughout the world. We are a movement of GracePoint Church working in partnership with non-profit organizations locally and globally to feed the hungry, fight homelessness, empower children and families, respond to the needs of people in crisis, rescue victims of injustice, and lead a generation into a greater life of generosity and service.

One of the biggest mission fields in this world is the public school campus. As we invest resources in the next generation, we know that we need to invest in the place where they spend a large chunk of their day - the schools.

By serving the schools, GracePoint wants to raise teacher morale and give encouragement for teachers in the schools of our community. We have chosen schools to bless with donations, meals for Parent/Teacher Conferences and In-service days and many other ways to show God's love and build relationships.

You can join us by joining one of the following teams:
Appreciation Team - Help plan appreciation ideas: provide, prepare, and implement them to honor teachers and staff.

Food Team - Serve on a team that supplies, prepares and serves food and/or baked treats that support teachers on a Parent/Teacher conference night twice a school year.

Delivery Team - Deliver items such as school supply donations, gifts, food, etc to the schools, as needed.

Encouragement Writers - Write encouraging notes to the teachers and staff. Note cards provided.

Prayer Partner/Prayer Team – Pray for teachers, staff, students, and neighborhoods from our partner schools.

School Volunteers - Volunteer in one of the schools we support. Assist the teacher by working with students needing extra attention with school work or simply help the teacher with bulletin boards, copies, organization, etc.

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that affects both Americans and foreigners. Women and children are most at risk. Because of its location on one of the major highways in the Midwest, Wichita is a hotspot for human trafficking.

As a church, we want to do our part to fight human trafficking in our city and to assist in this effort, we have partnered with a local organization pioneering the way to abolish slavery in our city.

ICT S.O.S. is a project-based organization that acts as a liaison between specific local professional groups who work with trafficked youth and the Wichita volunteers who seek ways to be involved in finding solutions.

Another key opportunity is our disaster response ministry, Birthed out of the desire to empower the local Church to provide disaster relief and train volunteers how to become part of the solution, KTR was deployed to its first tornado in our hometown, Wichita KS on April 14, 2012.

We have many other ways to serve those in our city, and have a constant list of opportunities to serve at our Guest Services area at church. We are called as Christians to live our faith everyday. Living on mission means that in everything we do in our normal daily lives, we are connecting with, and serving others.  According to, "Don’t make the mistake of making “missional” another thing to add to your schedule. Instead, make your existing schedule missional."

Examples include: getting to know other parents at kids' games instead of staring at the smartphone; mowing the lawn for a neighbor; eat with a group of people at work (not just other Christians); participate in city events; get to know your neighbors, etc.
