STRATEGIC PARTNERS

  • Project Teacher

Through our outreach program, Project Teacher, we serve teachers all across the South Central Kansas area. Project Teacher operates a resource center for teachers to come and receive school supplies for their classroom and students at no cost. Since 2014, Project Teacher has distributed over $1.5million in school supplies and resources to the Greater Wichita Area. • Project Laundry

Through Project Laundry, GracePoint is able to serve our city by providing one of the basic services possible - free laundry. This initiative consists of regular opportunities to help people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry. Project Laundry serves the community every week at different locations throughout the city. • Serve the Homeless

Through our strategic partners like Family Promise of Greater Wichita and Deuteronomy 15:10 Ministries, GracePoint has several different ways to serve the homeless in our city. We are a support church for FPGW and provide meals, volunteers, donations, and supplies to support families who are homeless. Through Deuteronomy 15:10, we serve food and provide basic essentials such as hygiene items, sleeping bags, blankets, etc. to the homeless in our community. We also partner with them to serve through the Shower Up program.

Other Ways

We have many other ways to serve those in our city, and have a constant list of opportunities to serve at our Guest Services area at church. We are called as Christians to live our faith everyday. Living on mission means that in everything we do in our normal daily lives, we are connecting with, and serving others.

Examples include: getting to know other parents at kids' games instead of staring at the smartphone; mowing the lawn for a neighbor; eat with a group of people at work (not just other Christians); participate in city events; get to know your neighbors, etc.
